About
About
We tell everyone else to write a specific, verifiable about page. Here is ours.
What this is
A free tool and a set of guides for making a website readable, quotable and citable by AI assistants. Plus an honest directory of every other tool in the space, including several that do things we do not.
Who publishes it
AI Visibility Toolkit™ is a product of Virtual Planet Pty Ltd, trading as Virtual Planet, at virtualplanet.ai(opens in a new tab). Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
We build AI systems, copilots, agents and automation for businesses — and we were doing it before AI visibility became a marketing category. This site exists because the same problem kept turning up in that work: a client would want an assistant to answer questions about their business, and the assistant could not read their website well enough to try.
The rubric on this site is not a framework we invented to have something to sell. It is the checklist we were already running by hand, written down and made public.
We are small. There is no floor of analysts, and we would rather say so than write "our team" and hope you assume otherwise. What that buys you: the person who wrote the rubric is the person who answers your email, and nothing here has been through a committee. What it costs you: no 24-hour support desk, no service level agreement with penalty clauses, and nobody getting on a plane.

That table exists because we tell every reader of this site to publish exactly this information, and an about page that will not do what it recommends is not worth reading. See entity clarity.
Why it exists
We kept running the same handful of checks by hand for clients — is there schema, does robots.txt block the crawlers, does the FAQ have markup, do the images have alt text — and writing the same explanations. Automating the checks and publishing the explanations was less work than repeating ourselves.
How we make money
Three packages. The first two are a one-time payment, with no subscription.
Starter — the AI Visibility Review, A$500 + GST. A website review, industry-specific assessment, competitor review, AI Visibility Score™, Four Pillar Assessment, prioritised opportunities and an executive summary report. You submit your website; we do the analysis.
Growth — the AI Visibility Roadmap, A$1,250 + GST. Everything in the Review, plus a detailed implementation roadmap, schema, AI crawler and content recommendations, platform-specific guidance, industry-specific examples, a priority matrix and one before-and-after re-test. Your team, agency or developer applies the changes, or we can do it for you as a separately quoted job.
Enterprise & Agency, custom — multi-site businesses, agencies, franchises, large organisations and white label.
Each package covers one website and your main services or products; a second website is a fixed-price add-on. Businesses with three or more websites, and agencies, get a custom quote on one invoice.
No link in the tool directory earns us a commission. If that ever changes, the link will be marked and carry rel="sponsored", and this page will say so first. Nothing in the directory is a paid placement, the order is not for sale, we review tools that pay us nothing, and we recommend spending nothing whenever that is the right answer. The full policy is published alongside the reviews.
We do not run ads, and we do not sell your data. Everything else on this site is free and stays free — the checker, all the guides, the free generators and the complete scoring rubric.
If any of that changes, this page changes first.
Our biases, stated
We sell a fixer, not a tracker, so we have an interest in you believing on-page work matters more than mention-tracking. We think that is true for small sites and we argue it explicitly rather than assuming it. Weigh it knowing where it comes from.
Corrections
The directory goes out of date — pricing changes, features move, tools get acquired. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the change in the changelog.
Take this to your assistant
Paste it into ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or Gemini and apply it to your own website.
