Craft is unusual in this list because it does almost nothing automatically. No plugin is emitting half-correct schema you then have to override. Whatever ends up in your <head> is there because you put it there.

That makes the work straightforward and slightly more manual than WordPress.

Where things go

JSON-LD belongs in your base layout template, usually templates/_layout.twig, inside the head block. Craft's Twig lets you build it from your actual field data rather than hard-coding it:

Building it from fields rather than pasting a static block is the whole point of being on Craft. Change the field, the markup follows.

llms.txt and robots.txt go in your web/ directory as plain files. Craft serves anything there directly, so no routing configuration is needed.

Per-entry schema is best handled with a Twig include that switches on the section — Article for a blog entry, Product for a commerce entry, LocalBusiness on your contact page.

The one thing to watch

Craft ships with devMode and template caching that can behave differently between your local environment and production. If your structured data looks right locally and missing live, check that the template cache has been cleared and that the entry is actually published rather than a draft.

SEOmatic, if you use it

The most common Craft SEO plugin will emit a lot of this for you, including JSON-LD and meta tags. If you are running it, check what it is already producing before adding your own — duplicated Organization schema is worse than one clean block.
